Keeping safe and maintaining independence: older people and sight loss

Please note this is not a NDA event.

Do you have visual impairment or know someone who does? Do you work with people who have sight loss? Do you work with older people?

If you have answered yes to any of the above please read on. You are warmly invited to attend this event which is concerned with sight loss in later life and how we can enable people to live a quality life despite the difficulties that arise from diminished vision.

Who is it for? The programme will appeal to older people and their advocates; practitioners – for example, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation support officers; researchers from a variety of disciplines and anyone with an interest in supporting older people with sight loss.

Venue: Weetwood Hall Conference Centre and Hotel, Otley Road, Leeds, LS16 5PS.
